HELP US MAKE A DIFFERENCE

We are committed to helping the elderly and ill populations of Arizona by offering a solution to life-changing dilemmas. Our goal is to ease some of the issues associated with a loss of independence and good health; trials which eventually affect us all.

You can help us with our mission and our goal.

Become a Foster

For Furever Friends Rescue fostering is an essential part of the mission. In order for us to be able to fulfill our goal we must have a foster base. To foster you must be willing to:
  • Give an animal a place to stay until there is room within one of our adoption venues.
  • Some of our animals have been through the trauma of losing the only home they've ever known and the person or persons who loved them. In these cases you may be required to spend time acclimating the dog or cat to a new environment.
  • From time to time we may also need fosters who are willing to care sick animals or those recuperating from surgery, i.e. spay/neuter as well, which means medicating and some additional time commitment.
  • Fostering is an excellent way to have a pet without the long term commitment and cost.
  • The rescue will provide food, litter, and vet care for the animals that require it. You provide the room, the care and the love.
Anyone wishing to become a foster with Furever Friends Rescue should download the Foster Application and email it to info@fureverfriendsrescue.org You will be contacted for an interview and if accepted into the Foster Program a home check will be scheduled.

Become a Volunteer

Why volunteer?
  • By volunteering with Furever Friends Rescue you will directly enrich an animal's life by providing them with socialization and basic training. This will prepare them for their new forever homes and make for a much smoother transition.
  • Donating your time and talents will help us to expand the rescue which will in turn enable us to assist more families in crisis and their pets.
  • If you are an animal lover but unable to adopt a pet yourself, volunteering offers you the ability to spend time with one of our dogs or cats without the full time commitment.
There are many ways to volunteer and not all of them revolve around spending time with the animals. We also need:
  • People willing to do office, accounting and clerical work.
  • Transport: for some of the folks we assist, animals going to or from the vet or to special adoption events.
  • Individuals who can help with promotional events, adoption events, fundraisers, etc.
Volunteering offers you the opportunity to meet new people who share your feelings with regard to animal rescue and you will change the lives of those you touch. There is no greater feeling of accomplishment.

To volunteer with Furever Friends Rescue, fill out the online application and you will be contacted to set up an interview.

Donate to Furever Friends Rescue

Each time someone makes a donation to Furever Friends Rescue, it helps us to care for an animal in need. Often the people relinquishing their pets are on a fixed income and cannot provide basic care, such as spay/neuter, vaccinations, or basic check ups. Donations make it possible for us to help the animals who really need our support - emotionally and financially.

As a 501(c)(3) organization, your contribution to Furever Friends Rescue will be tax-deductible. Please consider making a secure donation through PayPal using the button below.

Nena - Foster Volunteer

I was invited by Furever Friends Rescue to foster for their shelter. I'd never been a foster before, but because of my love of animals, I agreed. I knew that fostering would save lives.

My first foster was Gabby, the sweetest kitty. She lives up to her name as she "talks" a lot! She loves to sit in my lap and be petted. She often rolls over on her back for belly rubs and she loves to jump on the desk when I'm trying to use the computer.

Gabby found her furever home! I am fostering again. There's always another animal that needs my help to get out of the system and find a home!
